Not only mastered the tools of his craft—Unreal Engine, Zbrush, Maya, Substance, and more—but also built a thriving global community of over 500 diverse developers.
Leroy leads with both strategy and soul, fostering collaboration through mentorship, clear communication, and creative empowerment.
As the creative force behind DA PAPER BOY, he authored the game’s storyline, world-building and level design, weaving together culturally resonant themes with engaging, stylized environments. Leroy designed the gameplay systems and progression, mapped out the technical scope, and built a scalable pipeline that aligned artistic vision with production realities. Modeled high- and low-res, anatomically accurate characters, and created the overall character scale of the game.
In addition to shaping the creative core, he led a multidisciplinary team of coders, artists, and designers, managing workflows, guiding iterative development, and ensuring cohesion across all departments. When team members were overwhelmed with work he filled in roles by creating characters, environment assets, blueprints, and more. His leadership transformed DA PAPER BOY from an idea into a fully playable, critically recognized experience.
